BLADE: 5" long Forged D2 (Х12МФ Rus) high carbon steel. Thickness 5 mm. LEFT-GRIND
Handle: 6" long, Stabilized Siberian mammoth ivory with birch burl and reindeer antler bolster. The cross section of stabilized mammoth ivory imbedded in the birch burl wood.
The handle is made of 10,000+ years old mammoth Ivory harvested in Siberia. The ivory has been buried for 10,000 + years in the Siberian permafrost. The material is stabilized for strength with resin.
